The TV quiz show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (WWTBAM) has developed a huge following over the years, with viewers attracted by the tension and excitement of seeing contestants edge their way closer to a seven-figure jackpot. Only a lucky few ever get the chance to take part in the television show, but if you fancy trying to win big yourself, the WWTBAM online slots game at the Betfair casino could be for you!

This 50-line game sees players bet on the outcome of five spinning reels, with payouts awarded for lining up three or more matching symbols on a win line. Unsurprisingly, the size of these prizes depends on the number of symbols you reel in - get five in a row and you'll really be in the money!

About the Game

The objective of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire is to obtain winning symbol combinations by spinning the reels.

To play the game:

A wagering denomination (coin value) can be chosen by clicking the Click to Change denomination button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.

Line bets are chosen by clicking Bet per Line. Each click adds a coin to the line bet. When the maximum amount is reached (10 coins of the selected wagering denomination), clicking the button again resets the line bet to one coin.

Paylines are chosen by clicking Lines. Each click activates a payline. When all paylines are activated, clicking the button again resets it to one active payline. Paylines can also be activated by using the numbered buttons on either side of the reels. Selecting a high payline includes all the lower ones too.

For example, selecting payline 6 also activates paylines 1 through 5. Clicking Bet Max activates all paylines with the currently selected bet per line and spins the reels.

Total bet per game round = line bet X active paylines.

As you'd expect from a Betfair casino online slots title, WWTBAM is easy to pick up - within just a few seconds you'll be placing your bets and spinning the reels. The different win lines can be seen on the far left and right-hand sides of the screen; just hover the mouse pointer over each line number to view the positions it covers (for instance, win line one comprises the five symbols running across the middle of the slot machine).

There are two ways to choose the number of lines you wish to bet on - either use the up and down arrows next to the Lines display, or click on the individual numbers on either side of the reels. By clicking on a number, you'll select that number of lines - so by hitting five, you'll pick lines one to five.

Increasing and decreasing your stake is equally as simple; just use the arrows by the Stake per Line display. However, it's important to remember that your total bet will be higher than the value shown in this box - if you select a £2 stake and decide to play 20 lines, your actual wager will be £40 (£2 multiplied by 20).

When you're happy with your choices, hit the Spin button and wait to see what the online slots game reels in. Any winning results will be highlighted on the reels, with your total payout displayed underneath them. If you win on two lines at once, your prize will be added together and two different payouts will be shown - the winnings for each line in turn and for the whole game.

To keep you interested in WWTBAM, you can pick up some extra cash through the bonus games - Lifelines, Player's Choice and Jackpot Ladder Money Tree Climb. All of these offer you the chance to win some more-than-handy sums through a series of innovative challenges.

For instance, the Jackpot Ladder Money Tree Climb tasks you with climbing the eponymous Money Tree by clicking the Hit button at the right time. You'll be given three chances to ascend to the next step of the ladder and win the corresponding prize, but if you fail, you lose a lifeline.
